Becoming
Becoming brings together a series of individual works created by Olga Wagemans between 2021 and 2024. Rather than conceived as a single project, the images emerged independently, each carrying its own story.

Throughout this period, Wagemans repeatedly turned to the human body as a subject of exploration. Looking back, the works trace a parallel movement in her own life: a process of transformation, of finding her ground and gradually rising into a different sense of self.

The body becomes both subject and language: a place through which vulnerability, strength, movement and transformation can be explored. Together, the works form a visual record of a period of becoming, while each image continues to exist on its own.
